Go beyond the AUTO mode & learn to maximize your camera
1. Where will the workshop be held ?	5 Minutes walk from the Somerset MRT
2. How many sessions will the workshops be ?	3 sessions of about 4 hours each in 3 different day ( 1 day apart ;i.e. Sat, Sun, Mon )
3. How many people will there be in a class ?	Normally maximum of 10-11 people in a class
4. How much is the workshop ?	S$320/person. S$20 early bird discount if paid 10 days early.
5. How do to pay for the workshop ?	Cheque will be the easiest. No credit card.
6. Is there lecture and practical session ?	Normally 2 lectures with 1 field outing or 2 outing with 1 lecture.
7. Who will be conducting the workshop ?	John Arifin will be your workshop leader.
8. Do I need my own D-slr ?	If you have your digital camera please bring it in.
9. Should I buy a camera first before joining ?	If you still don't know what you want, I suggest you should hold on. We can let you use our D-SLR and show you what to look for when buying your new camera.
10 . Is my current compact camera suitable ?	As long as it has P,S,M,A shooting modes it is suitable.

It is all about you.
You probably own a digital camera now or planning to buy one soon. You are wondering how to maximize your camera if not overwhelmed by the features that is not easy to understand.

You have either read the camera manual (reluctantly ) or having information over-load . In other word, you may be confused and may feel lost . Worst still, you may have a holiday coming soon and wanting to capture those perfect sceneries and family photos to share your happy moments with others.

Are you alone ? No. You are not alone.

If you have been using Automatic mode every time. You have not maximize the camera features yet. AUTO mode works pretty well when the situation is ideal ( bright sun light, things are stationary ). But when lighting is dim and subject is moving you will have an uphill task in getting satisfactory photos . Picture will turn blur, too dark, or too bright .

However, if you understand the basics of photography, you can learn how to solve your problem and create better pictures. Better still, since your mind is thinking (not the camera ), you will become a better shooter or what I call a POWER SHOOTER. Once you learn and understand the basic concept in photography you can control your image.
